Then, we hired MJB Electrical Contractors (now known as "Mr. Prime Electrical" - www.MrPrimeElectrical.com) a commercial electrician, working with them to map out a strategic installation that branched out from the communications closet to each tenant in this multistory office building. We provided wall jacks to each office desk, making available High-Speed Internet, Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP phone lines) and Cable Television.
To follow up, our partner, a senior engineer, programed individual networks and installed Linksys Routers for secure WiFi.
We prepared Comcast account applications.
For several tenants, we installed new computers (desktops and laptops) with all software and security, and migrated files. We managed email strategies, settings and signature blocks, and transferring emails. We even recycling the old computers.
We then managed website strategies, building fully-branded sites for many of the tenants. That included writing every syllable of content, creating original graphics, onsite photography and, of course, safe and secure web hosting.
And finally, for a few tenants, we ordered Comcast Broadband for their residences to establish a super secure VPN tunnel between home and office computers.
This project happened because our clients were constrained by lousy dial-up modems, even as surrounding residential communities enjoyed high-speed internet. We had to convince Comcast to make this happen. Not long after completion, “Comcast For Business” was launched.
